Welcome to Virginia Tech's Undergraduate House of Representatives!
The House of Representatives primary purpose is to act as a liaison between students, administrators, and the surrounding community. By listening to the concerns of each group, identifying common ideas, building a shared vision of a better solution, and then helping to implement these solutions, we are building a better campus, community, and world.
In representing student voice, there are many opportunities to grow and mature as a leader. You will be given opportunities to meet with important administrators, local leaders, and possibly even have lunch with President Steger! You will have the opportunity to influence campus growth and policy as well as assist State Legislators as they influence state and national policy. You will also have the opportunity to network with an amazing group of undergraduates who take of University’s motto “Ut Prosim-That I May Serve” seriously. We will provide you with many, many opportunities, what will you create?
